Highway History/Review:
OK 164 runs along a former alignment of U.S. 64 between OK 74 in Covington and U.S. 77 in Perry. Before the current alignment of U.S. 64 between OK 74 and Interstate 35 was built nine miles to the north of OK 164, U.S. 64 was duplexed with U.S. 77 south from Perry, then went along current OK 164 and OK 74 to where U.S. 64 and OK 74 meet today.

EASTERN TERMINUS
U.S. 77, west of Perry

	OK 164 East at U.S. 77. There is no "END" sign at this terminus. Continuing straight ahead puts motorists onto U.S. 77 North, which will intersect Interstate 35 in two miles. (Photo taken 7/18/03)
