Highway Review:
OK 1 goes through southeast Oklahoma. From its beginning at U.S. 177 and OK 199 at the Johnston-Marshall county line, OK 1 heads through Ravia, Mill Creek, Roff, Ada, Atwood, Calvin, McAlester, Hartshorne, and Talihina. OK 1 shares lengthy duplexes with U.S. 270 (46 miles) and OK 63 (38 miles). The highway leaves Oklahoma on the Talimena Scenic Drive, arguably one of the most scenic drives in the nation.
