Highway Review:
OK 87 has the distinction of being the farthest southeast state highway in Oklahoma. It begins at U.S. 259 near the Texas State Line and curves its way along the Red River Valley to its end at the Arkansas State Line, where the highway becomes AR 108.

OK 87 East as it prepares to cross a one-lane bridge. Right after I took this picture, a truck came flying around the corner ahead. That probably doesn't happen too often on this stretch of highway that averages less than 200 vehicles per day on it. (Photo taken 6/23/04)
